Milani to date-
As she came to me (2006):
Shortly after I first got it with a little clean up (2007):
Some mild stock improvements (2010):
And now (2011):
Milani specs:
Autisa V1 55cc kit
Zen pipe
15mm Dellorto w/ 75 jet
I also put a better handlebars and a more functional seat on it (with a new seat to come). They may not look as visually pleasing, but made a vast improvement in handling. I also raised the rear mounting of the pipe for about 1" more clearance.
It is much stronger than it was. I believe it would like a 77 jet a tiny bit better. It is mildly sluggish in the low end, but once it hits the power band it really starts to haul ass. I think stiffer clutch springs would help alot with the take off. Moped Monday ride tonight will give me a better gauge of how it's all doing.

still some of the coolest mags I've ever seen. Does the break release on it's own now? or do you still need to push it forward with your foot while riding?
ReplyDeleteha, i wrote 'break'
ReplyDeleteDespite all of my rigorous efforts in cleaning, sanding, and oiling all surfaces and moving parts I could not get it to not stick. So I loaded some springs around the cable and between the tensioner and the brake actuator. That seems to successfully act as a proper brake return. Finally.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I keep forgetting to invest in some springs for my brakes.
