I am going to start this post as if I have been blarging my life away: So anyway I am riding the Austro Daimler because it runs and rides well now the timing has been set and I enjoy it. I am fighting off its scooterishness by not running with the side covers (that I would have to hack anyway to clear the estoril) by digging what is the affect of my first ZA50. Minimagnumblue is taking a peaceful nap until its classic travel/camping conversion for the 100+ mile round trip camping adventure extravaganza to Port Townsend WA with the Fleet. I am very excited. An interesting factoid about this bike is that it was the 3rd moped in the Mosquito Fleet. Further it is the oldest still running Fleet bike. I went with the og mosquito when he purchased it on Queen Anne. It came into my hands and back to the fleet for a bottle of Jameson and is promptly being whipped into shape. Which is to say it is being a big bitch and quite troublesome in the sloppy science that is the tuning department. It will likely be the lucky recipient of a used 50cc PowerOne/TCCD kit er whatever it may be someday soonish for a little extra OOMPH!
